Kendall Keller (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist (ATR). Kendall received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Misericordia University and her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Art Therapy from Caldwell University. Kendall has experience providing social-emotional skill building, DBT skills, and art therapy to children, adults, and families. She has worked at the Mental Health Association of Essex and Morris counties, the Montclair Child Development Center, the Penn Medicine Princeton Health’s Women’s Trauma and Eating Disorder program and at Legacy Treatment Services. She also has years of experience at The Renfrew Center treating eating disorders and co-occurring mood disorders as both a Primary Therapist and Art Therapist before stepping into the Clinical Team Leader role where she continued to treat eating disorders and support her clients and their families at the PHP/IOP level of care.

Kendall treats teenagers (13+) and adults and specializes in treating eating disorders (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Orthorexia, and ARFID), anxiety, and depression. She also has experience in treating PTSD and OCD and understands the importance of providing trauma informed care. Kendall recognizes that not everyone presents with the same challenges, nor do they have the same learning styles. In therapy, she utilizes an approach that works best for you, to help you build the skills to make meaningful changes. Kendall believes that each session is an opportunity for you to develop a deeper awareness of the self, uncover patterns, learn to build tolerance for uncomfortable emotions, and strengthen self-compassion. Kendall is licensed in the state of NJ and offers both in-person and telehealth appointments for both talk therapy and art therapy.

Art therapy combines visual and symbolic expression with psychotherapy and helps people express emotions, explore thoughts, and process experiences that may be difficult to speak about. Art therapy can help you begin to conceptualize your thoughts and feelings along with how they might relate to your current behaviors or challenges. Kendall is very passionate about the role of creativity and art making in the healing process. She has seen first-hand just how much the process of art-making encourages growth and supports an increase in self-awareness and mindfulness. Art therapy is appropriate for all ages and no artistic skill is required!

Please note that virtual art therapy may be a different experience than art therapy in person. Virtual art therapy comes with some limitations and sessions may be modified in terms of available art supplies and available space for art making in the client’s own home.

Kendall’s NJ License Number: 37PC00839700
