Lindsey Casey (she/her) is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC). She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Montclair State University and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Stockton University. Lindsey started her work in the counseling field during her internship at a private practice, where she gained experience working with kids (5+), teenagers, adults, and couples before beginning her role at SYTI Counseling as a full-time clinician.
Lindsey treats anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma and PTSD, as well as individuals and couples who are experiencing relationship difficulties or are managing general life stressors. Additionally, Lindsey has a passion for working with kids and adults on the autism spectrum.
She recognizes the uniqueness of every individual, and therefore, tailors each session to meet the client’s needs. She believes that healing begins with a safe space free of judgement or pressure, where clients can feel seen and heard. Her goal is to support clients in gaining insight, building resilience, and developing practical tools to create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. Lindsey’s approach to counseling is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She has also completed the Level 1 Gottman Method for Couples Therapy. Lindsey’s strength-based approach in therapy encourages her clients to recognize and utilize their strengths to heal both in and outside of the therapy session.
